Prior to working with Emutel, she was classified as a Fixed Wireless customer, despite every other house on her street being classified as Fibre To The Node. This resulted in poor reception and speed performance. Additionally, her mobile phone would often drop calls because of poor 3G & 4G reception, and she relied on her home phone to contact others. Her provider of 17 years was unable or unwilling to help her change her Service Class to a Fixed Line service, as NBN’s rollout map suggested she should be.
After working with Emutel, our team convinced NBN Co to change Jacqui’s Service Class to reflect their rollout map. As a result, she now has a reliable and stable FTTN connection. Additionally, WiFi calling is now possible, so she no longer has to rely on her mobile reception or wired-in landline phone for calls.
